15 Slots with hierarchical memory management functionality (HSM) are available in the DISC Blu - safe. Any files left untouched over a period of time are copied automatically to a Blu ray disc. A further important cost saving advantage is by using economically priced standard media for storing data volumes. The fifteenth BD slot is also available to other applications e.g. Media Player.
